An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at a site in Hoddesdon, EN11 area.

Hours: Average of 42 Hours per Week. 4 On, 4 Off, rotation of days and nights, 06.30 - 18.30 / 18.30 - 06.30.

Pay rate: £8.43 per hour / on site parking.

Position - Skill Base Requirements

A valid SIA licence or applied for / CCTV licence advantageous

Own transport required
A full five year checkable employment history
Excellent customer service skills
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
Surveillance skills
Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal
Have a good level of judgement professionalism
IT skills / computer literate

Be aware of location layout - High profile visual patrols - Being observant & vigilant - Be aware of hot spots and identify areas of concern - Deter persons with intent to commit a criminal act, play your part in providing a safe work environment and reducing any loss.

Safe & Secure

How to Achieve Success:

Book on/off and make safety calls at an agreed frequency - Be aware of life safety systems & safe to work procedures e.g. alarms, first aid, fire doors clear, react and support swiftly - Make safe, calm and controlled decisions - Record & escalate appropriately.

Assignment Instructions (AIs)

How to Achieve Success:

Content awareness including, breaks & welfare, personal mobile phone & headset use, smoking policy, risk assessment & crisis management.

General Responsibilities

Access & egress control - CCTV monitoring - Key control - Site patrols, checks & lockdowns - Equipment use and maintenance - Maintain a daily log book - Arrest & Search (must be aware of policies) - Administration
