Registered General Nurse

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Salary: £21 - £23 per hour
Job Duties:
- Providing high-quality nursing care to patients
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assisting doctors and healthcare professionals during examinations and procedures
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop individualised care plans
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Providing emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
Required Qualifications:
- Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered General Nurse
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Education:
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Registered General Nurse
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialist training or certification in a specific area of nursing (e.g. intensive care, paediatrics)
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Working Conditions:
- Shift work may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
- Emotional resilience and ability to cope with stressful situations
