Monday to Sunday rotational weekends 07:00am - 17:00pm & 12:00pm - 22:00pm. Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour. Start Date: 27/01/2025. What the role is: The Environmental Enforcement Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining public health, safety, and environmental standards by enforcing environmental laws and regulations. This position involves investigating environmental violations, issuing warnings, fines, or citations, and educating the public about environmental responsibilities. The officer will work closely with local authorities, businesses, and residents to promote compliance and help reduce environmental crimes such as littering, fly-tipping, and pollution.
