An excellent opportunity has arisen for a  Security Area Support Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, to work in the Reading area and within a 20 mile radius of the RG1 postcode.

Hours: On average 40 hours per week, various day, night & weekend shifts as and when required. Shifts as per site requirements - 20:00am-06:00am, 18:00pm-06:00am, 19:00pm-07:00am, 07:00am-19:00am, 08:00am-16:30pm, 16:15pm -23:00pm

Pay rate: £12.84 per hour

Person Specification

  • A valid SIA licence; 
  • An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out for this role.
  • Own transport, a clean full UK manual driving licence.
  • A full five year checkable employment history.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach.
  • IT skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the site.
  • Liaise with client to fulfil security requirements on site.
  • Complete various security documentation.
  • Liaise with manager effectively and efficiently.
  • Protect the image of high profile client and Kingdom.
  • Supervise and control site access.
  • Conduct regular site patrols.
  • Where appropriate and trained act as incident first responder.
