Security Officer (18192)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse Security Officer to join Kingdom Group, working at site in Newcastle, NE16 area.

Hours: On average 36 hours per week, Monday, Tuesday and Sunday, 17:30pm - 05:30:am.

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Manage the booking and dispatch of all vehicles to site
• Conduct trailer temperature checks and ensure correct sealing procedures
• Maintain and enforce site biosecurity standards
• Control and issue site keys in line with security protocols
• Monitor and manage site access control
• Provide out-of-hours reception and security support
• Operate and manage site weighbridge activities
• Monitor and uphold animal welfare standards
• Carry out pallet and basket condition checks
• Conduct staff and vehicle searches, including within production areas
• Complete and maintain waste documentation accurately
• Perform routine site chiller temperature checks

Person Specification

• A valid SIA licence or applied for.
• A full five year checkable employment history.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Surveillance skills.
• Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
• Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
• IT skills.
