Hours: Average of 38 hours per week, mixture of days and nights. 

Pay: £13.00 per hour 

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Soft Services Supervisor to oversee the daily delivery of high-quality soft services across our site. This role is responsible for supervising teams involved in cleaning, and security, to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high service standards while supporting and motivating a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily soft services operations including cleaning, waste management, and other support functions.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of soft services staff to maintain high performance and service standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are maintained.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and consumables and place orders when required.
  • Handle service issues or complaints promptly and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good knowledge of cleaning standards, health & safety, and COSHH regulations.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in basic IT systems
  • Flexible approach to working hours if required.
  • Door Supervisor License
  • First Aid or Health & Safety certification.

Desirable

    • Relevant facilities management or cleaning industry qualification.
    • Previous experience in a soft service’s supervisory role within facilities management, hospitality, healthcare, or a similar environment.
    • Experience managing large teams or multi-service environments.
    • CCTV License
