ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER 

Location: Monmouth – NP15 area
Pay: £14.00 per hour / Weekly Pay
Hours: Flexible hours (various shifts as required)
Shifts: Between 07:00 – 20:00 (Monday to Sunday, rota basis)
Contract: Flexible / Temporary

Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting Environmental Enforcement Officers in Monmouth to support local operations on a flexible, as-needed basis.

This is a varied, outdoor role where you’ll help tackle environmental crime, engage with the public, and support efforts to keep local areas clean, safe, and welcoming.


What You’ll Be Doing
• Patrolling local areas to identify environmental offences
• Enforcing regulations relating to littering, fly-tipping, and waste management
• Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) and carrying out follow-ups
• Investigating incidents and gathering evidence
• Responding to public complaints
• Supporting compliance through engagement with residents and businesses
• Using surveillance equipment where required
• Maintaining accurate records and reports

• Confident communicator with strong people skills
• Professional and calm in challenging situations
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Flexible and adaptable approach to shifting hours
• Reliable and able to work independently
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Willingness to undertake training and development
• Previous enforcement, security, or customer-facing experience (desirable)
