Location: West Thurrock – RM20
Pay: £16.23 per hour 
Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime
Shifts: Between 07:00 – 21:00 (including weekends)
Requirement: Own transport required

Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting an experienced Environmental Enforcement Team Leader to lead from the front in West Thurrock. You’ll play a key role in tackling environmental crime, supporting your team, and ensuring high standards across all operations.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same – combining frontline enforcement with team leadership in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.


What You’ll Be Doing
• Leading from the front – carrying out patrols and issuing Fixed Penalty Notices
• Managing and supporting a team of Enforcement Officers
• Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across your area
• Liaising with Local Authority partners and key stakeholders
• Investigating incidents and responding to public concerns
• Coaching and training new team members
• Monitoring performance, standards, and compliance
• Preparing reports, case files, and supporting legal processes


What We’re Looking For
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience (essential)
• Confident communicator with strong people skills
• Professional and calm under pressure
• Ability to manage performance and motivate a team
• Organised with good attention to detail
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Knowledge of environmental enforcement (desirable)
