ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Location: Camden – NW5 area
Pay: £14.80 per hour / Weekly Pay
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 5 on, 2 off (varied shifts between 07:00–23:00, Monday–Sunday – weekend work required)


About the Role
Kingdom Local Authority Support is looking for confident, professional, and proactive Environmental Enforcement Officers to support the local community in Camden.

This is a field-based role where you will help reduce environmental crime, promote compliance, and improve public spaces by enforcing local regulations and educating the public. You will play a key role in maintaining public health, safety, and environmental standards.


Key Responsibilities
• Patrolling assigned areas to identify environmental offences
• Enforcing regulations relating to littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, and waste management
• Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where appropriate
• Investigating incidents, gathering evidence, and preparing case files
• Responding to complaints from members of the public
• Conducting follow-up visits to ensure compliance
• Preparing evidence for legal proceedings and attending court if required
• Using surveillance equipment where necessary
• Working closely with local authorities, businesses, and residents
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
