The Opportunity

We are seeking a senior, strategic leader to take on the role of National Director – Security Services, operating at Group Board level with a high degree of autonomy and influence.

In this role, you will lead national client relationships, drive retention and growth, and shape innovative service solutions that differentiate our offering in the market. You will ensure every contract operates with clarity, confidence, and strong commercial discipline, while acting as a visible brand ambassador and industry leader.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, multi-layered client relationships to drive retention, growth, and cross-selling opportunities

Service Performance: Oversee national service delivery standards, ensuring consistent excellence, rapid issue resolution, and a customer-first approach

Service Solutions, Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Lead the development and evolution of innovative service solutions, including 12-month added value roadmaps, ensuring a strong competitive edge and enhanced customer experience

Industry Representation: Represent the business at key industry events, forums, and affiliations, influencing conversations and positioning the organisation as a market leader

Retention & Retender Strategy: Own contract retention strategy, lead turnaround plans for at-risk accounts, and drive continuous improvement through learning analysis

Strategic Mobilisation Leadership: Lead high-profile mobilisations with strong governance and structured delivery, ensuring long-term contract success

Audit & Compliance Oversight: Support and lead internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal standards

Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and inspire Regional Directors and Account Directors, building a high-performing national leadership team

Continuous Improvement: Use data, insight, and strategic planning to drive efficiencies, innovation, and measurable business outcomes


What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role within a security service-led organisation (e.g. Account Director, Partnership Director, Customer Director, COO, MD, National Director)
Proven track record of driving retention, growth, and operational excellence at scale
Full UK driving licence
Full 5-year checkable employment history including references, credit check, and right to work in the UK
Relevant industry qualifications (desirable)
