About the Role

 Kingdom Group is recruiting Retail Security Relief Officers to support Tesco stores in Rushden. This is a flexible relief position suited to individuals who can adapt to different shift patterns and store requirements. Working between 0 and 48 hours per week on a rota basis, you will be required to work a combination of early and late shifts across Monday to Sunday. Typical shifts are 07:00–14:00 and 14:00/15:00–23:00/00:00, although start and finish times may vary depending on store requirements. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for both customers and staff while representing the Kingdom brand

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the store to maintain safety and security
• Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
• Monitor store activity and respond promptly to incidents
• Complete accurate incident reports and maintain clear records
• Support Tesco colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
• Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally

Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervision or Security Guarding)
• Full 5-year checkable work history
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
• Willingness to travel when required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable, and confident approach
• Good observational skills and sound judgement
• Previous security experience desirable but not essential
