Location: Aberfan Shopping Centre
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary Seasonal Position

Hours Available

We have flexible opportunities available:

• 1 x Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week
• OR 2 x Part-Time Positions: 20 hours per week each

Working any days between Monday and Sunday, with shifts between 09:00 and 17:00.

Please note: Due to the nature of this role, an Enhanced DBS with Child Workforce check is required.

The Role

As one of Santa's trusted Elves, you'll help create a magical and memorable experience for children and families visiting Santa's Grotto during the festive season. You'll work closely with Santa to ensure every visitor enjoys a warm, welcoming and fun experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome children and families to Santa's Grotto
• Assist Santa throughout each session
• Hand out gifts to children
• Help organise queues and visitor flow
• Encourage festive interaction and engagement
• Support with photographs and memorable moments
• Maintain a friendly, energetic and positive atmosphere
• Ensure activities are conducted safely at all times
• Communicate any safety concerns promptly
• Assist with the upkeep and presentation of the grotto area
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required
