Cleaning Operative

Location: Wincanton British Salt, CW10 0JP
Pay: £13.29 per hour
Hours: On average 15 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, any time between 12:30 and 17:00

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at Wincanton British Salt, CW10 0JP.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking for part-time hours with a regular weekday schedule. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the site, helping to provide a safe, clean, and professional environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Cleaning offices, communal areas, and welfare facilities
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Wiping and sanitising desks, workstations, and touchpoints
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables as required
• Following cleaning schedules and site procedures
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the site

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene practices

Additional Information

• Own transport is required due to the location of the site
• Applicants must be able to provide a full five-year checkable employment history
• Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment screening and reference checks
