Location: Tesco Claypath Express, DH1 1RH
Pay: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Shift Times: 15:00 - 23:00
Requirement: Valid SIA Licence Required

About the Role

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is seeking a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Claypath Express, Durham.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment while maintaining a safe and secure shopping experience. You will help protect customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service and acting as a visible security presence within the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the store
• Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
• Monitor and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Complete accurate reports and maintain records of incidents
• Monitor CCTV systems where authorised
• Support store management and colleagues as required
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when needed
• Protect customers, colleagues, and company assets

What We're Looking For

• Valid SIA Licence
• Full 5-year checkable work history
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable, and confident approach
• Good attention to detail and sound judgement
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous security experience desirable but not essential
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Shift Information

• 40 Hours Per Week
• Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• 15:00 - 23:00
