Cleaning Operative
Location: 55 Blythswood Street, Spectrum Building, Floor 7, Glasgow, G2 7AT
Pay Rate: £13.59 per hour
Hours: Average 10 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 08:00
Requirements: Basic DBS required and own transport essential
We are looking for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to join our team at a modern office site in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoys working independently as part of a dedicated facilities team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning office spaces, meeting rooms and communal areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Dusting and sanitising surfaces, desks and touch points
- Cleaning kitchen and welfare facilities
- Cleaning and restocking washrooms
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Following cleaning schedules and site procedures
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- A valid Basic DBS is required for this position
- Own transport is essential
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual and able to work early morning shifts
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of health and safety procedures
