Shift Pattern: Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Kingdom Services Group is looking for a professional and customer-focused Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Chester-Le-Street. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a valid SIA Licence who are committed to providing a safe and secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service.

Working within a busy retail environment, you will play a key role in protecting Tesco colleagues, customers, visitors and assets while maintaining a visible and reassuring security presence across the store.

Key Responsibilities

• Deter theft, shoplifting and stock loss through a professional and visible security presence.
• Protect customers, Tesco colleagues and visitors by maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment.
• Monitor suspicious behaviour, identify potential risks and take appropriate action to prevent incidents from escalating.
• Accurately record incidents and complete all relevant reports and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with Tesco management teams and security control rooms.
• Carry out internal and external patrols of the store as required.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, customer service, appearance and conduct at all times.
• Follow all Tesco and Kingdom security policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Security Licence.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional when handling incidents.
• Strong observation and reporting skills.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
• Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
