What the role is:

The Enforcement Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining public health, safety, and environmental standards by enforcing environmental laws and regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:

Environmental Law Enforcement:

  • Enforce environmental regulations and local by-laws relating to littering, fly-tipping, graffiti, waste management, noise pollution, and other environmental concerns.
  • Patrol assigned areas to detect violations and ensure compliance with environmental laws.
  • Investigate reports of environmental offenses from the public and respond promptly to complaints.
  • Patrol Hospitals and enforce no smoking and littering.

 

Communication: Express information clearly and concisely to ensure understanding.

Flexibility: Adapt to change and work effectively in various situations and weather conditions.

Learning and Development: Participate in our training course to gain insight into daily duties, current legislation, communication, and interaction aspects of the role, earning a recognized qualification in environmental awareness.
