An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Cleaning Operative, working at a shopping centre in Salisbury, SP1 area.  

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment within the Shopping Centre.

The individual will ensure the floors, windows, and toilets, enhancing the customer experience and the overall aesthetic appeal of the shopping centre.

Hours: On average 18.5 hours per week. Saturday 08:00am - 18:30pm & Sunday's 09:00am - 17:00pm

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour.

Responsibilities: 

Below is not an exhaustive list and any other reasonable and fair role relevant tasks may be added:

  • The Cleaner will be responsible for the cleaning of all areas within the contract.
  • Achieving high standards, you will ensure the service is operated safely and hygienically.
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including windows, glass doors, counters, and furniture.
  • Ensure proper cleaning of high-traffic areas, such as entrances.
  • Regularly clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are well-stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., toilet paper, soap).
  • Empty bins regularly and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Ensure recycling guidelines are followed where applicable.
  • Report any repairs or damages to equipment, floors, to the management.
  • Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are stored safely after use.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines when using cleaning chemicals and equipment.

  • Experience of working in a customer facing environment.

  • Own transport is required.
