Kingdom Group are working in partnership with a Prestigious Retail Client, and we have a great opportunity for a Retail Security Officer to join our team.

Our client is a highly regarded, household name retailer, well-known for their product innovation and uncompromising quality. They have evolved their retail estate, transforming the customer experience in-store, and are looking for Quality Security Officers that reflect the new direction the business has moved in.

Where: London, SE1 area.

When: We’re looking to get the right person in to the team ASAP!

Hours: 40 hours per week to cover 5 out of 7 days.

Shift Patterns: 06:00-15:00 or 15:00-00:00

Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour.

About the role:

  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring the premises.
  • Providing a visible deterrent within the store against theft, anti-social behaviour, violence and criminal activity to create and support a safe shopping environment.
  • Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Engage with police and other security personnel to improve service levels – this may include crime partnership meetings, shop watch schemes and police meetings.
  • Deal with confrontational situations in a calm, sensitive and professional manner.
  • Officers must also be flexible to be able to cover sickness, holiday absences, and ad-hoc shifts for the full-time team.

About you:

  • Excellent communication & customer service skills.
  • Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of SCONE.
  • A valid SIA licence (DS).
  • A full five-year checkable employment history.
