Job Title: Retail Security Officer

Location:Sheffield, S7 area.

Hours: On average of 24 hours per week, covering 3 out of 7 days. 

Shift Patterns: Monday-Sunday 15:30-00:00/ 10:00-17:00

Pay:£13.47 per hour

About the Role:

As a Retail Security Officer, you will play a key role in creating a safe and secure environment within a Tesco store. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a strong and visible security presence for customers and colleagues
  • Patrolling and monitoring the store to prevent theft, incidents and risks
  • Recording observations and completing accurate incident reports
  • Working collaboratively with store teams to meet client expectations
  • Managing difficult situations professionally and safely

About You

We’re looking for professional, confident individuals who bring pride and care to everything they do. You will have:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A professional approach, good judgement and strong attention to detail
  • A valid SIA Licence
  • A full five-year checkable employment history
  • Previous security experience is beneficial but not essential—full support provided
