Job Title: Cleaning Bid Manager

Location: Hybrid, based in WA12 area

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm

About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and proactive Cleaning Bid Manager to join our growing Cleaning division. This is a fast-paced, results-focused role where you will play a pivotal part in securing new business through the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and compelling bid submissions. You will be process-driven, detail-oriented, and commercially astute, with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering work to a consistently high standard. An excellent communicator, you’ll be confident working with stakeholders at all levels and bringing clarity, structure, and creativity to every submission.

This role is ideal for an experienced Bid Manager or a motivated graduate looking to begin a career in bid management within a service-led organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end bid process from opportunity identification to submission and review
  • Monitor procurement portals and support bid / no-bid decisions
  • Lead the creation of clear, persuasive, and compliant written bid responses
  • Coordinate input from Operations, Commercial, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, statutory requirements, and sector regulations
  • Maintain tender pipelines, bid libraries, and CRM records (HubSpot)
  • Embed company values, ESG commitments, and social value within submissions
  • Continuously improve bid quality, efficiency, and win rates

Skills & Experience:

  • Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Highly organised, proactive, and calm under pressure
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Commercial awareness and a results-focused mindset

Desirable:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a service-led organisation
  • Experience within the Cleaning industry
  • Bid management and bid writing experience
  • Experience using CRM and tender management systems
  • Graduate applicants with strong writing skills and a desire to build a career in bid management are encouraged to apply.
