Kingdom Group have a great opportunity for a Security Officer to join the teamworking at a site in Selby, YO8 area.

Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 06:00-14:00

About the role:

The Security Shift Manager will report directly to the Security Co-ordinator and will assist in the operational supervision of all staff engaged in security duties ensuring that Site Security and Safety procedures are always implemented and adhered to.

  • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
  • Deal with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner.
  • Understanding the operation of access control systems, site CCTV & integrated systems.
  • Staff rostering, holiday management, rotas, and schedules.
  • Month end invoicing for payroll processing, payroll queries.
  • Training and Training record management.
  • Covering the Operations Support Manager in absence / holidays.
  • Liaising with the client and senior management.
  • KPI management.
  • Confidential minute taking, data protection, safeguarding.
  • On occasion to have flexibility with working hours, to meet the demands of the business.

Ideal candidate profile:

• Smart appearance.
• SIA Door Supervisor Licence essential.
• SIA CCTV Licence preferred but not essential (if not held to be willing to attain CCTV Licence)
• Own transport & Full UK Driving Licence.
• Management NVQ Level 3 minimum. (if not held to be willing to attain level 3 qualification)
• Administration experience, Microsoft based systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven experience in Security Management.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Flexible/Available at short notice.
