Kingdom Services Group is recruiting an experienced Bid Manager to join our successful Tendering Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bid writer / bid manager with experience in facilities management, recruitment, or service‑led organisations to work on high‑value tenders and RFP responses.

Reporting into the Head of Tendering Centre, you’ll manage the full bid lifecycle and play a key role in improving win rates across the business.


Key Responsibilities – Bid Manager / Bid Writer

Bid & Tender Management

  • Support and contribute to the Bid / No Bid decision‑making process
  • Manage bids end‑to‑end from PQQ to submission and presentation
  • Write, review, and edit RFPs, tenders, and proposals
  • Coordinate kick‑off calls, timelines, and internal stakeholders
  • Manage shared bid inboxes and procurement portals

Bid Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure bids are fully compliant, compelling, and client‑focused
  • Maintain and continuously improve bid libraries and templates
  • Critique submissions and drive improvements in quality and efficiency
  • Maintain tender pipeline data using CRM (HubSpot)

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Design teams
  • Interpret complex tender requirements and clearly brief stakeholders

Experience & Skills Required

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in bid writing / bid management
  • Experience within facilities management, recruitment, or service‑led organisations preferred
  • Minimum 2 years in a Bid Manager, Bid Writer, or Tender Manager role

Key Skills

  • Excellent written English, grammar, and attention to detail
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Process‑driven, results‑focused, and commercially aware
  • Confident working autonomously and within a team
  • Intermediate MS Office skills (Word essential; MS Teams for document management)

Additional Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Five‑year checkable employment history
  • Two work references
  • Right‑to‑work and personal credit checks
  • Professional qualifications (or working towards) advantageous
