• Monday to Friday
• 07:00 – 18:15

About the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join the team at BCA Peterborough. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a professional and reliable individual who is committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers, visitors, staff, and site assets.

Working as part of the security team, you will play a key role in protecting the site, controlling access, and ensuring security procedures are followed at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Unlocking and securing the site at the start and end of each day
• Monitoring CCTV systems and conducting security checks
• Controlling access to and from the site
• Ensuring the safety and security of staff, visitors, and vehicles
• Responding to incidents and reporting security concerns appropriately
• Maintaining accurate records, logs, and incident reports
• Providing excellent customer service to visitors and contractors
• Adhering to all site security procedures and company policies

Requirements

Essential

• Valid SIA Security Licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain vigilant and professional in a busy environment
• Good report-writing and IT skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, professional, and flexible approach to work
