Cleaning Operative

Location: DXC Technology, Tewkesbury, GL20 8NB
Pay Rate: £14.61 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent, Part-Time
Hours: Average 15 hours per week

Working Pattern

• Monday to Friday
• 15:00pm to 18:00pm

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS with Child Barred Check required
• Previous cleaning experience preferred
• Reliable with excellent attention to detail
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Positive and professional attitude
• Punctual and dependable
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures

Key Duties

• General office cleaning
• Hoovering and mopping floors
• Cleaning desks, touchpoints and communal areas
• Cleaning kitchen facilities and staff break areas
• Cleaning and sanitising washroom facilities
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Replenishing consumables where required
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Ensuring all areas are clean, safe and welcoming for staff, visitors and students

Ideal Candidate

This role would suit a reliable and hardworking individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and professional environment. The successful candidate will have previous cleaning experience, be comfortable working independently, and consistently deliver exceptional cleaning standards while demonstrating excellent reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic. Due to the nature of the site, an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred Check is essential.
