Kingdom Services Group have a great opportunity for a Retail Security Officer to join our team!

Where: Site in Montrose , DD10 area.

Hours : On average 24 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Saturday and Sunday 06:00am - 18:00pm. Overtime available!

Pay rate: £12.34 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring CCTV and access control system.
  • Utilizing access control system for printing swipe badges, occupancy reports and daily checks.
  • Answering incoming calls, handling general queries, transferring calls to appropriate department/person.
  • Assist in emergency situations i.e fire evacuations, and conduct staff searches where required.
  • Be a focal point for Emergency Response Procedures.
  • Responding to emails and client requests/queries.
  • Collaborative approach to working with on site facilities management.
  • Maintaining client On-Call sheets.
  • Gaining knowledge of other site roles working as part of a site team, and duties of other sites for short notice cover.
  • Knowledge and Experience.
  • Effective Communication - Articulate, ability to communicate effectively with people from all backgrounds & seeks to understand & be understood. Writes clearly & concisely.
  • Teamwork - Considerate & supportive, flexible & responsible.

Person specification:

  • A valid SIA licence; or applied for.
  • Own transport.
  • A full five year checkable employment history.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills are required both written and verbal.
  • Have a good level of judgement professionalism.
  • IT skills.
  • Physically & medically fit.
  • Be of smart appearance.
  • Enthusiastic and willing to develop new skills.
  • 2 - 5 years' experience would be advantageous.
  • Must have the ability to deal with the emergency services.
