An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Director to join Kingdom Group Ltd.

Job purpose: 

Kingdom Services Group is looking for a driven, strategic, and high-performing Sales Director to lead growth across our cleaning division. This is a national leadership role for a self-starter who thrives on building pipeline, winning complex contracts, and inspiring teams to smash targets. You’ll own and execute a bold sales strategy that unlocks new markets, strengthens partnerships, and helps take Kingdom to the next level.

Location: Nationwide 

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm or to meet the demands and objectives of the primary role.

Salary: Upto £90,000.00 Per Annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a sales strategy to achieve personal targets
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate high-quality leads and to drive strong brand presence
  • Identify wider cross-sell opportunities across Kingdom’s services and support conversion
  • Stay close to market trends, customer insights and competitor activity — and use this data to shape smarter sales strategies
  • Build relationship through appropriate social connections, event attendance, kingdom success story updates, insights.
  • Confidently present to clients, stakeholders and internal teams when needed
  • Support the tendering centre process as directed
  • Support the Group CARE values
  • Use the sales HOW process manual (SA06) and be complaint with content
  • Submit a weekly activity report to your Line Manager for support, coaching and review.
  • Work with operational colleagues to ensure a smooth handover from sales win to service delivery
  • Act as a service ambassador within Kingdom and the wider industry. Contribute, shape change, influence or make positive impact as an industry thought leader / disrupter in your service space
  • Recruit, retain, and develop top talent through controlled structures, salaries, terms and conditions and succession planning. Install a united and together high-performing teamwork culture.
  • Build team culture, capability, and accountability.
  • Lead structured performance reviews with clear KPIs.
  • Promote wellbeing, recognition, and balanced high performance.
  • Support resolution of conflict and low-level disciplinary issues.

The successful applicant will match the below skill set:

  • A proven sales leader from the Cleaning, FM, or service contract sector, with experience closing high-value, strategic contracts.
  • A hands-on operator who combines boardroom thinking with boots-on-the-ground delivery.
  • A natural leader who drives performance, leads with purpose, and knows how to get the best from people.
  • A strong commercial thinker—pricing, margins, and value-based selling are your language.
  • Someone who’s digitally sharp, CRM-savvy (HubSpot ideal), and fluent in the sales tech stack.
  • A credible communicator and closer—confident in front of clients, C-suite, and delivery teams alike.
  • Tenacity, resilience, hunger. You’ll need all three to make this role your own.

Candidate Match 

  • 5+ years in senior sales or commercial leadership within the Cleaning/FM Sector
  • Track record of exceeding ambitious sales targets.
  • Proven ability to manage opportunities through the full sales cycle –  from self-generation through to close
  • Tender & solutioning experience
  • Commercially aware; good capability to negotiate terms whilst maintaining margin
  • Experience managing national teams and complex pipelines.
