Part-Time Cleaner (Permanent)

Location: Northampton College, Booth Lane, Northampton, NN3 3RF

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 27.5 hours per week

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 16:40pm

Requirement: Enhanced DBS with child barring required

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Part-Time Cleaner to join our team at Northampton College, Booth Lane.

This role is key to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will play an important part in ensuring the college is kept to a high standard of cleanliness each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out general cleaning duties across the college
• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Cleaning desks, chairs, and other furniture
• Washing and disinfecting sinks, toilets, and restroom facilities
• Replenishing consumables such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
• Cleaning doors, windows, and touchpoints as required
• Responding to any immediate cleaning needs or spillages
• Maintaining high hygiene and safety standards at all times
