Location: Sanctuary Housing, Hampton View, WV10 0PF
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 48 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
Shift Times: 18:00 - 06:00
Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team at Sanctuary Housing, Hampton View. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and staff through proactive security measures, regular patrols and excellent customer service. The successful candidate will work night shifts and play a key role in protecting people, property and assets across the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the premises.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and staff.
• Monitor access and egress, challenging unauthorised persons where necessary.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergency situations in a professional manner.
• Complete accurate incident, patrol and occurrence reports.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems where required.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as a visible security presence.
• Ensure all site security procedures and health and safety requirements are followed.

Essential Requirements

• Valid SIA Security Licence.
• Enhanced DBS check.
• Previous experience within the security industry.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Good report writing and observation skills.
• Reliable, professional and punctual approach to work.
