Location: Tesco Harlow, CM20 2TG
Pay Rate: £13.72 per hour
Hours: 31 Hours Per Week
Working Days: Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday
Shift Patterns:

• Monday: 07:00 - 15:00
• Thursday: 15:00 - 00:00
• Friday: 15:00 - 00:00
• Sunday: 11:00 - 17:00

Requirement: Valid SIA Security Licence Essential

Kingdom Services Group is currently recruiting for a Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Harlow, CM20 2TG. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, customer-focused and reliable Security Officer to support a busy retail environment, helping to create a safe and secure shopping experience for customers and colleagues.

As a Retail Security Officer, you will act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour while supporting store operations and ensuring site security standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas.
• Provide a highly visible security presence to deter theft, shoplifting and anti-social behaviour.
• Monitor store activity and respond professionally to incidents and security concerns.
• Complete accurate incident reports and security documentation.
• Support store colleagues in maintaining a safe working environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when required.
• Liaise with store management, emergency services and local authorities when necessary.
• Assist with loss prevention and stock protection initiatives.
• Deal confidently and professionally with challenging situations.

What We're Looking For

• A valid SIA Security Licence is essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable and confident approach.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Full 5-year checkable employment history.
• Previous retail security experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to support store operations.
