 An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom as a Invoicing Team Leader working in the Newton-Le-Willows area.

Position: Invoicing Team Leader

Location: Kingdom Services Group Head Office, Newton-Le-Willows, Merseyside, WA12.

Hours:  On average 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday 09:00am-17:00PM

Salary: £30,000 per annum

The Invoicing Team Leader is responsible for leading a team, so proven experience in people management, coaching, and performance development is essential. They will thrive in a fast-paced, process-driven environment, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and be passionate about delivering accurate, timely invoicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of invoicing colleagues, ensuring high performance and engagement
  • Oversee the accurate and timely generation of invoices in line with contractual and operational requirements
  • Monitor and improve invoicing processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and consistency
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. operations, finance, credit control) to resolve queries and support smooth cash flow
  • Ensure adherence to relevant statutory compliance and internal finance procedures
  • Support the implementation and use of finance systems and platforms, promoting best practice
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and development planning for team members
  • Promote a culture of accountability, wellbeing, and continuous improvement within the team
  • Provide reporting and insights on invoicing performance and KPIs to senior stakeholders

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • AAT qualified or working towards
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a finance role
  • Proven experience in leading or supervising a team
  • Strong understanding of invoicing processes, systems, and best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
  • Checkable employment history
