Position: Invoicing Team Leader
Location: Kingdom Services Group Head Office, Newton-Le-Willows, Merseyside, WA12.
Hours: On average 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday 09:00am-17:00PM
Salary: £30,000 per annum
The Invoicing Team Leader is responsible for leading a team, so proven experience in people management, coaching, and performance development is essential. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of invoicing colleagues, ensuring high performance and engagement
- Oversee the accurate and timely generation of invoices in line with contractual and operational requirements
- Monitor and improve invoicing processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and consistency
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g. operations, finance, credit control) to resolve queries and support smooth cash flow
- Ensure adherence to relevant statutory compliance and internal finance procedures
- Support the implementation and use of finance systems and platforms, promoting best practice
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and development planning for team members
- Promote a culture of accountability, wellbeing, and continuous improvement within the team
- Provide reporting and insights on invoicing performance and KPIs to senior stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience:
- AAT qualified or working towards
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a finance role
- Proven experience in leading or supervising a team
- Strong understanding of invoicing processes, systems, and best practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
- Checkable employment history
