Kingdom Group are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Retail Security Contract Manager to join our team — supporting one of our key clients, Tesco.

Where: Sheffield and surrounding areas

£35,000 - £40,000 Per Annum

What the role is:

A multisite contract brand ambassador responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of best-in-class security and customer service through inspirational leadership and people management.

Core Responsibilities

  • Understand and deliver contract expectations
  • Proactively manage risk across all sites in your portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with the Operations HOW Manual
  • Meet customers monthly to review KPIs and implement feedback
  • Maintain green service status
  • Own scheduling, ensuring 100% manning
  • Identify failing areas and lead improvement programmes
  • Conduct incident & accident investigations
  • Manage 3rd party relationships
  • Use data (MI) to drive actionable insights
  • Stay within budget on uniforms, training, and equipment
  • Lead mobilisation/decommission of contracts
  • Support regional social value initiatives
  • Report success and appraise performance

 Leadership & People Management

  • Recruit & retain top talent (with help from Engagement Centre)
  • Promote teamwork, capability-building, and recognition
  • Lead change, enforce compliance, and build a high-performance culture
  • Handle disciplinary, grievance, and conflict management
  • Conduct snap site checks, including out-of-hours visits

Experience

  • Manager level security professional with a minimum 2-years’ experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience of writing procedures, drafting reports, preparing business cases, and controlling budgets.
  • A driving license holder
  • A full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, right of work compliance

Qualifications & Licenses 

  • Relevant managerial qualifications
  • Frontline SIA Licence is mandatory
