Bid Manager (Hybrid – Full-Time Permanent)

Location: Newton-le-Willows (WA12) – Hybrid Working
Pay: £40,000.00 per year 
Hours: 40 hours per week
Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence


About the Role

Kingdom Services Group is recruiting an experienced Bid Manager to join our successful Tendering Centre.

Reporting into the Head of Tendering Centre, you will manage the full bid lifecycle, working on high-value tenders and RFP responses across facilities management, recruitment, and service-led sectors. You will play a key role in improving win rates and supporting continued business growth.


Key Responsibilities

Bid & Tender Management

• Support Bid / No Bid decision-making processes
• Manage bids end-to-end from PQQ through to submission and presentation
• Write, review, and edit high-quality tenders, proposals, and RFP responses
• Coordinate kick-off meetings, timelines, and internal teams
• Manage bid inboxes and procurement portals

Bid Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all submissions are compliant, client-focused, and high quality
• Maintain and improve bid libraries and templates
• Review and critique submissions to drive continuous improvement
• Track and manage tender pipeline using CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot)

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Operations, Commercial, Finance, and Design teams
• Interpret tender requirements and clearly brief stakeholders
• Ensure alignment across departments for successful submissions


What We’re Looking For

Experience

• Proven experience in bid writing or bid management
• Minimum 2 years in a Bid Manager, Bid Writer, or Tender role
• Background in facilities management, recruitment, or service-led environments (desirable)

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent written English, grammar, and attention to detail
• Strong organisation and project management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Commercial awareness and results-driven mindset
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word essential; Teams for document management)


Compliance & Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Full 5-year checkable employment history
• Minimum of two work references
• Right to work in the UK
• Credit check clearance
• Professional qualifications (or working towards) advantageous
