Gatehouse Security Officer (16468)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Gatehouse / Distribution Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at a site in Hatfield, AL10 area.

Hours: On average 52 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. 7 on 3 off then 7 on 4 off, Monday to Sunday 07:00am - 19:00pm, 19:00pm - 07:00am, 07:00am - 15:00pm (Saturday DAY only). 

Pay rate: £12.47 per hour.

What will you be doing?

• Access & egress control.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Key control.
• Site patrols, checks & lockdowns.
• Equipment use and maintenance.
• Maintain a daily log book.
• Arrest & Search (must be aware of policies).
• Administration.
• If you are to have an accident on site you will be requested to comply with the site rules and have a Drug & Alcohol test before leaving site.

What do we need from you?

• A valid SIA licence or we can put you through the training and the charge will be deducted per month from your wage. 
• A full five year checkable employment history.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
• An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach.
• Full manual UK driving licence

Training shifts

• Your first 4 shifts are training shifts and paid at a lower rate of £12.21
• Once you have completed your training shifts your hourly rate will automatically raise to £12.47.
