Cleaning Operative

Location: AJG, Wakefield, WF1 3NT
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: On average 10 hours per week
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 08:00

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Operative to join our team at AJG, Wakefield, WF1 3NT.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking for part-time hours with a consistent weekday schedule. You will play an important role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site, helping to create a safe, clean, and professional environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
• Cleaning offices, communal areas, and welfare facilities
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Wiping and sanitising desks, workstations, and touchpoints
• Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables as required
• Following cleaning schedules and site procedures
• Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the site

• A positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent attention to detail
• Reliable with good timekeeping
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Good understanding of health, safety, and hygiene practices

Additional Information

• Basic DBS check required
• Applicants must be able to provide a full five-year checkable employment history
• Successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment screening and reference checks
