Location: Hestia Susan Glover House, NW2 4LH
Pay Rate: £14.80 per hour
Hours: 44 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 20:30 - 07:30, Monday to Sunday
Requirements: Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and Enhanced DBS Check

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our team at Hestia Susan Glover House. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and dedicated individual looking to work within a supported housing environment, helping to maintain a safe and secure setting for residents, visitors, and staff.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring site security, preventing unauthorised access, supporting residents when required, and maintaining accurate security records. You will act as a visible presence on site while delivering excellent customer service and responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and security of the premises at all times
• Preventing unauthorised access to the site and monitoring all entry and exit points
• Providing assistance and support to residents in a professional and respectful manner
• Completing site log books, occurrence reports, and incident reports accurately
• Conducting regular patrols of the building and surrounding areas
• Monitoring and responding to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Maintaining a visible security presence to deter anti-social behaviour and criminal activity
• Reporting security concerns and incidents to management promptly
• Following all site procedures, company policies, and health and safety regulations

What We're Looking For

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence is essential
• Enhanced DBS check is required
• Previous security experience is desirable
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good report writing and incident management abilities
• Professional, reliable, and trustworthy approach
• Ability to remain calm and confident in challenging situations
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
