About the role:
- Must hold a valid SIA licence
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel
- Act as a strong and visible deterrent within the store
- Respond appropriately to any incidents or issues that arise while on duty
- Deal with difficult situations in a safe, calm, and professional manner
- Carry out regular store patrols
- Complete accurate and detailed reports, including observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Monitor and operate CCTV systems as required
- Provide professional, proactive customer service
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet customer and store requirements
- Previous retail security experience is essential
- Conflict management experience is essential
- Full uniform provided following successful completion of store induction
- Must be flexible and able to work days, evenings, and weekends
About you:
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
- Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
- A valid SIA Licence or have applied for one.
- A full five-year checkable employment history.
- Own transport is preferred.
