An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Static Security Officer to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at the ferry terminal site in Gourock, PA19 area.

This position is working as a security officer onboard the ferry vessel between Gourock and Dunoon Keeping public and staff onboard safe by regular patrolling and monitoring of all onboard.

Pay: £14.10 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide security presence to prevent vandalism of ferry terminal building.
  • Provide security presence to act as a deterrent and to respond to any anti-social behaviour onboard ferry between Gourock and Dunoon.
  • Pre-empt and prevent any disorder onboard vessels whilst ferries are in crossing.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the site.
  • Liaise with client to fulfil security requirements on site.
  • Complete various security documentation.
  • Liaise with manager effectively and efficiently.
  • Protect the image of high profile client and Kingdom.
  • Supervise and control site access.
  • Conduct regular site patrols.
  • Where appropriate and trained act as incident first responder.

Person Specification

  • A valid SIA licence; or applied for.
  • A full five year checkable employment history.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An ability to work as part of a team.
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible approach.
