At Kingdom, we're ambitious, growing and people-focused. We deliver award-winning Security, Cleaning, Recruitment and Training services across the UK and are recognised for providing exceptional service with care.

As our Security Division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to play a critical role in securing new business and retaining key customer partnerships.

This is not a bid administration role.

This is an opportunity to own the tender process, influence strategy, challenge thinking, and directly contribute to winning major contracts across the security sector.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Principal Sales Director, you will manage the full end-to-end tender process, leading multiple opportunities simultaneously and translating complex customer requirements into compelling, compliant and winning submissions.

You will work alongside senior leaders, operational experts and subject matter specialists to create security solutions that stand out from the competition.

If you're competitive, commercially minded, love writing winning responses and thrive under pressure, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

Managing the end-to-end TE20 tender process

Leading bid planning, coordination and submission activities

Writing, editing and strengthening high-scoring tender responses

Working with operational teams to develop winning solutions

Managing tender deadlines, governance and compliance requirements

Supporting both retention and new business opportunities

 Delivering post-tender clarifications and presentations

Maintaining bid libraries, case studies and knowledge banks

Analysing feedback, scores and lessons learned to improve future success

Supporting strategic growth across the Security Division

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in Security Sector Bid Management

Proven track record of producing successful tender submissions

Experience managing multiple tenders and competing deadlines

Strong understanding of security solutions and service delivery

Experience working within a service-led organisation

APMP Qualification or working towards certification

The Skills That Separate Winners

 Outstanding Bid Writer

You can transform complex information into clear, persuasive and customer-focused responses.

 Commercially Driven

You understand how to position value, differentiate solutions and maximise scoring opportunities.

 Security Sector Knowledge

You understand the realities of delivering security services and can build credible, deliverable solutions.

 Resilient & Accountable

You remain calm under pressure, own your tenders from launch to submission and always deliver.

 Stakeholder Influencer

You can confidently engage with Directors, Operational Leaders and Subject Matter Experts, challenging constructively when required.

 Continuous Improver

You don't settle for "good enough". You constantly refine content, improve processes and learn from feedback.

Essential Requirements

  • Full UK right to work
  • Five-year checkable employment history
  • Minimum two professional references
  • Credit check
  • APMP certified (or actively studying)
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using tender portals and bid management systems
