An excellent opportunity has arisen to join Kingdom Cleaning as a Part Time Caretaker working at a college in Brecon, LD3 area.

Hours: On average 20 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Friday 08:30am - 12:30pm.

Pay rate: £13.44 per hour

Requirements: Full UK Manual Driving Licence to drive a company vechile.

Responsibilities & Requirements: 

  • Carry out general site maintenance, minor repairs, porterage, caretaking, and compliance checks.
  • Ensure security of buildings and grounds, including key holder duties, CCTV monitoring, alarm testing, and out-of-hours callouts.
  • Monitor student and public areas, carry out ID checks, manage access, and respond to incidents or emergencies.
  • Support staff and students by diffusing difficult situations appropriately.
  • Manage mail room operations, goods inwards, deliveries, collections, and internal transport between sites.
  • Drive College vehicles, manage vehicle bookings, and ensure compliance with vehicle regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, compliance checks, and inspections (e.g. fire alarms, emergency lighting, water hygiene).
  • Act as a First Aider and Fire Marshal; assist with evacuations and emergency response.
  • Support exams, College events (including weekends), and general facilities operations as required.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently, flexibly, and as part of a team.
  • Awareness of health & safety and security procedures.
  • Full driving licence preferred.
