ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER

Location: Northamptonshire (NN1 1ED)
Pay: £13.45 per hour / Weekly Pay
Hours: Average 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 07:00 to 19:00, Monday to Friday with occasional weekends, working 5 days over 7 as per site rota
Requirement: Full UK Manual Driving Licence (company vehicle provided)
DBS: Basic DBS required

Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting Environmental Enforcement Officers in Northamptonshire to help tackle environmental crime and improve local spaces.

This is a varied, field-based role where no two days are the same, combining enforcement, public engagement, and community support. You'll be at the frontline of keeping areas clean, safe, and compliant while driving a company vehicle across the local area.

What You'll Be Doing

• Patrolling local areas to identify environmental offences
• Enforcing regulations around littering, fly-tipping, and waste management
• Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where required
• Investigating incidents and responding to public reports
• Engaging with members of the public, businesses, and local stakeholders
• Carrying out follow-up visits to ensure compliance
• Supporting wider community safety initiatives
• Driving a company vehicle between locations within the area

What We're Looking For

• Confident communicator with strong people skills
• Professional and calm in challenging situations
• Good attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
• Basic DBS check required
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Previous enforcement, security, or customer-facing experience (desirable)
