The Role
As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer contracts, ensuring service excellence, operational compliance, and strong client relationships across multiple sites.
This is a highly visible field-based role where you will act as a service ambassador for Kingdom, supporting site teams, developing talent, resolving operational challenges, and ensuring contracts consistently meet agreed standards and customer expectations.
You will be the key point of contact for both clients and operational teams, taking ownership of service delivery, performance management, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Take full ownership of an assigned portfolio of contracts.
- Ensure services are delivered consistently and in line with contractual requirements.
- Monitor KPIs, service levels, and operational performance against agreed targets.
- Conduct regular site visits, audits, inspections, and service reviews.
- Lead contract mobilisation and decommissioning projects when required.
- Manage staffing levels across contracts using core and relief teams.
Client Relationship Management
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day service matters.
- Ensure customers feel supported, valued, and informed.
- Manage expectations and resolve service issues promptly.
- Conduct regular service review and governance meetings.
- Investigate root causes of issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Leadership & People Management
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing site teams.
- Support employees through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Promote a positive working environment aligned to Kingdom's CARE values.
- Build engaged, motivated teams focused on delivering service excellence.
- Support organisational change and workforce planning initiatives.
Compliance, Quality & Risk Management
- Ensure all contracts operate in line with legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Manage incidents, complaints, investigations, and corrective action plans.
- Oversee contract compliance, documentation, and reporting.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks before they escalate.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement
- Champion innovation and smarter ways of working.
- Use operational data and insights to improve performance.
- Support contract retention activities and improvement plans.
- Drive efficiencies while maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Contract Manager, Operations Manager, Area Manager, or similar service-led management role.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Previous experience managing multiple sites and customer relationships.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to balance quality and cost.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and business management systems.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Desirable
- Experience within Security, Cleaning, Facilities Management, or another service-led environment.
- Relevant management or industry qualifications.
- Experience leading contract mobilisations and service improvement projects.

Working Hours
This is a field-based position covering the North Midlands region.
- Monday to Friday
- Flexibility is required to meet the demands of the business.
- Participation in an on-call rota is required to provide operational support outside of normal working hours when necessary.
- Regular travel between client sites is required; therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.
