BID MANAGER

Location: Hybrid – WFH & Newton-le-Willows
Salary: £40,000 per annum

About the Role
Kingdom Group is looking for a driven and commercially focused Bid Manager to take ownership of the end-to-end bidding function and support national growth.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you will lead bids from initial opportunity through to submission, working closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and compelling proposals.


Key Responsibilities
• Managing the full bid lifecycle from pipeline to submission and review
• Leading bid/no-bid decisions using commercial insight
• Monitoring procurement portals and identifying opportunities
• Coordinating bid timelines, stakeholders, and submissions
• Writing and developing high-quality bid content
• Managing PQQs, ITTs, and presentation materials
• Collaborating with operational, commercial, and leadership teams
• Maintaining and improving bid libraries and systems (CRM/HubSpot)
• Ensuring all submissions are compliant, client-focused, and high quality
• Analysing feedback and performance to improve win rates


What We’re Looking For
• Experience in a bid, tender, or proposal role (2+ years preferred)
• Strong written communication and attention to detail
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset
• Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Experience within security, cleaning, FM, or recruitment (desirable)
• Experience with tender platforms or CRM systems (beneficial)
