Turn Opportunities Into Wins.

Join a £300m+ business and help us win what’s next.

Are you an experienced Bid Manager who knows how to turn complex requirements into compelling, high-scoring tender responses?

Do you thrive on deadlines, enjoy bringing people together, and get real satisfaction from producing a bid that stands out from the competition?

If so, we want to hear from you.

Kingdom is an ambitious, growing Group with more than 11,500 colleagues supporting 5,000+ customer sites across the UK. We deliver Security, Cleaning, Recruitment and Training services, combining national scale with specialist expertise and a personal approach.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Bid Manager to play a key role in supporting our continued growth.

Working closely with senior sales and operational leaders, you’ll support the end-to-end tendering process, helping create compliant, compelling and commercially focused submissions that give Kingdom a competitive edge.

This isn’t simply about filling in tender documents.

You’ll bring together the right people, challenge thinking, strengthen our responses and ensure every submission clearly demonstrates why Kingdom is the right choice for our customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing tender activity, deadlines, stakeholders and deliverables
  • Producing and editing high-quality, persuasive tender responses
  • Turning operational solutions and evidence into compelling customer-focused content
  • Coordinating bid teams, kick-off meetings and solution-development sessions
  • Ensuring submissions meet customer requirements and internal governance standards
  • Maintaining accurate version control, documentation and audit trails
  • Developing and improving our bid content, case studies and evidence library
  • Reviewing tender feedback and scoring to strengthen future submissions
  • Supporting tender reporting and providing clear insight on progress and outcomes
  • Contributing to case studies, award submissions and relevant industry content

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can combine excellent writing ability with organisation, commercial awareness and a genuine drive to win.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar bid or tender management role
  • Evidence of successfully supporting or delivering high-quality tender submissions
  • Exceptional bid writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisation and project-management skills
  • The confidence to work with senior leaders, operational teams and subject-matter experts
  • The ability to challenge constructively and keep stakeholders accountable for deadlines
  • A calm, resilient approach when working under pressure
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how to turn operational solutions into customer value
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Experience using tender portals or bid-management systems
  • APMP certification, or actively working towards it

Why Kingdom?

This is an opportunity to join a large, successful and ambitious UK business where your work can have a direct impact on growth.

You’ll work alongside experienced senior leaders and operational specialists, helping shape bids, strengthen our approach and continually improve how we compete and win.

If you are commercial, competitive, organised and passionate about producing outstanding bids, we’d love to hear from you.

Apply today and help Kingdom turn great solutions into winning submissions.
