Dual Supervisor Security and Cleaning (18275)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Soft Services Site Lead to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd, working at a shopping centre in Hastings.

They will need to work effectively both as a team member and positively motivate and inspire the security & cleaning teams to achieve performance objectives.

Hours: On average 40 hours per week, shifts as per site rota, Monday 10:00am - 18:00pm, Tuesday 09:00 – 17:00pm, Wednesday 10:00am - 17:00pm, Friday 05:00am – 14:00pm, Sunday 09:00am – 17:00pm.

Pay: £13.00 per hour 

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Soft Services Supervisor to oversee the daily delivery of high-quality soft services across our site. This role is responsible for supervising teams involved in cleaning, and security, to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high service standards while supporting and motivating a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily soft services operations including cleaning, waste management, and other support functions.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of soft services staff to maintain high performance and service standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are maintained.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and consumables and place orders when required.
• Handle service issues or complaints promptly and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good knowledge of cleaning standards, health & safety, and COSHH regulations.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in basic IT systems
• Flexible approach to working hours if required.
• Door Supervisor License
• First Aid or Health & Safety certification.

Desirable

• • Relevant facilities management or cleaning industry qualification.
  • Previous experience in a soft service’s supervisory role within facilities management, hospitality, healthcare, or a similar environment.
  • Experience managing large teams or multi-service environments.
  • CCTV License
