Location: Tesco Dereham, NW19 1WB
Pay: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Sunday
Shift Times: 07:00 - 15:00 / 15:00 - 07:00
Requirement: Valid SIA Licence and Own Transport Required

About the Role

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is seeking a professional and reliable Retail Security Officer to join our team at Tesco Dereham.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment while maintaining a safe and secure shopping experience. You will help protect customers, colleagues, and store assets while delivering excellent customer service and acting as a visible security presence within the store.

The successful candidate must be flexible and willing to cover various shifts at the store, holiday cover, and provide support across surrounding Tesco locations when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols throughout the store
• Act as a visible deterrent to theft and anti-social behaviour
• Monitor and respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
• Complete accurate reports and maintain records of incidents
• Monitor CCTV systems where authorised
• Support store management and colleagues as required
• Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers when needed
• Protect customers, colleagues, and company assets
• Travel to surrounding stores when operational requirements demand additional support

What We're Looking For

• Valid SIA Licence
• Full 5-year checkable work history
• Own vehicle and full driving licence essential
• Ability to travel between stores and work in all weather conditions
• No mopeds accepted due to travel requirements across multiple locations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable, and confident approach
• Good attention to detail and sound judgement
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Previous retail security experience desirable but not essential
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Flexible approach to working hours and locations

• 36 Hours Per Week
• Monday - Sunday
• 07:00 - 15:00 / 15:00 - 07:00
• Flexibility required to cover a variety of shifts
• Holiday cover duties required
