Location: Tesco Filey, YO14 9AH
Pay: £13.47 per hour
Hours: 0–48 hours per week (Relief/Flexi Contract)
Pay Frequency: Weekly (every Friday)

About the Role

Kingdom Group, a trusted partner to Tesco, is seeking a professional and reliable Relief Retail Security Officer to support our Tesco store in Filey.

This flexible role offers varying hours each week, making it ideal for individuals seeking adaptable working patterns. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and colleagues while delivering outstanding service and representing the Kingdom brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the store to ensure safety and security
• Provide a visible deterrent against theft, loss, and anti-social behaviour
• Monitor store activity and respond appropriately to incidents
• Complete accurate reports and maintain clear records
• Support Tesco colleagues and contribute to efficient store operations
• Handle challenging situations calmly, professionally, and confidently
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
• Full 5-year checkable work history
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, reliable, and confident approach
• Good observation skills and sound judgement
• Previous security experience desirable but not essential
• Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns

Shift Patterns

Shifts may vary Monday to Sunday and can include:

• 05:30 – 13:30
• 06:00 – 14:00
• 07:00 – 15:00
• 12:00 – 20:00
• 13:30 – 23:00
• 15:00 – 00:00
